Mordenkainen's Sword

With this spell, a phantom sword of pure force springs into being in the caster's hand for five rounds. It appears to be a physical manifestation, but the caster actually wields it in his mind. Therefore, range is not a factor, and he can hit any target, as long as he can see him. Upon impact, the sword will appear and slice through them, inflicting heavy damage. The caster cannot use other attacks or spells until this spell expires.

Trivia Edit

The inspiration for this spell is from the Icewind Dale series. They both are wielded at range, and produce the same slashing effect upon hitting a target.
